As tzero mentioned earlier in the thread, what is the point of the digitone keys having those controls?
Physical controls for MW and PB, a physical sequencer immediately next to it, and no way to record those movements.
It’s absurd really.

its an instrument thats meant to be played.
It’s an instrument that’s meant to be played and sequenced!
You can record pitch bend and mod wheel into other elektron machines, such as octatrack.
However- all elektrons are step sequencers .
So your modulations will be stepped. There is no way round it. Exactly the same deal as if you record a filter sweep into your elektron sequencer.
If pitch bend and mod wheel recording is important to you, then you can record the audio into a sampler, or use a linear sequencer (MPC, or DAW) to record the midi from those wheels.
Elektron know there sequencer is a step sequencer, so thats probably why they didnt implement pitch and mod wheel recording, who wants stepped pitch bend??
It’s possible, with some work.
I can’t hear any stepping.
Used a MIDI mapping app on my iPhone (MidiFlow) to map PB to LFO depth (CC#29/61), one MIDI track LFO to control the track’s pitchbend value (sawtooth shape, frequency=0) and a loopback cable (MIDI out->in) to play an internal track. Internal track sequencer part is muted. The bass part was recorded live and quantized. Timing still a little off, sorry.
