how big does the Reverb go on the unit?
uhhh very big?
nice one, i’m assuming the new DT will be using the same send FX algorithms as the Rytm, i need some big space to play with.
cheers mate!
Expect the same quality and a very similar reverb.
all good then?
so i am guessing the DT will be good as an external Delay and Reverb box for my other synths?
Inf.
Depends on your fx box. IMO the onboard fx of the rytm are usable but not superb. However, the ability to plock them makes up for a lot
can agree with that. Reverb on the Rytm seems tailored towards Drums. If you crank it up it doesnt deliver that huge, big and lush sound you would expect from a big spaceous kind of Reverb. Analog Four’s Reverb is insane! And this one gets really really big while sounding even more amazing the more you crank it up
I don’t get it, people keep saying this about the AR reverb. On my AR with legacy fx send off, high levels for reverb send, fx track, reverb level, and reverb dec, and the other verb settings tailored to the sound, the reverb is just massive and can be louder than the synths themselves and last at least a minute or a few(I haven’t actually timed it). Seems like a lot of reverb over here…
Not as big as A4 or AK
When I think of big reverbs I think of huge cavernous spaces and the benchmark for me are the Eventide reverbs, absolutely huge, and are what I try to program all my big reverbs to sound like.
The A4/AK can get much closer to this big sound than the RYTM.
Saying that RYTM can still get big in a smaller way
