Ride cymbal settings?

Does anyone have any pointers on the ride cymbal settings they use to make the ride really float and carry well over the drums?

Any help much appreciated.

Use the highpass filter to cut some of the low end.

slow attack, and yea, HPF.

if you need to further lessen the attack, use trigless trigs to bring up the volume of the tail.
