RYTM Compressor description in manual incorrect?

Just reading through the manual here, Appendix B:FX Track parameters … (latest version downloaded from electron.se)

It states under the THR description:
THR (Threshold sets the threshold of the compressor. A lower threshold means a larger portion of the signal will be subject to compression. There is a BAR on the rightmost edge of the screen which will visually represent the amount of compression. (0-127)

Wel…WHERE is this bar exactly? It sure doesn’t have one like th Digitakt does when its comp. is used. I do not see it…

It sure would help when dealing in the compressor, thats for sure. Elektron, are you able to correct this in a future update perhaps?

I thought the bar went away on the mk2 units after one of the updates? It’s still present on my mk1 running 1.50A

I thought that was fixed in the MK2 manual, it has never (and won’t ) appear on MK2 - but it will be in Mk1 manual as it uses a screen more suited to the update rate required.

@eangman fixed that I thought, but pinging just in case

Ps there is a dedicated thread for these posts

Wasn’t sure if it was actually considered a bug or not, but otherwise would have posted in the appropriate thread…

Also, Odd that the MK2 screen doesn’t have the “update rate” required when its a newer model, no? …either way…sad that this bar does not exist anymore

This error in the manual was fixed a while back. (There is no compression bar on the MKII) My guess is that you are looking at an old version of the manual. Go to the Elektron site and download a fresh version from there

So strange, I swear I downloaded the Nov 2019 version and overwrote the older version on my computer…turns out…it must’ve not overwritten the older one. Thanks guys!
