Rytm vs. A4 (Mk1 models) - Output Volume

A question on the Mk1 Rytm vs. A4: for those with both units, do you find much (if any) difference in output volume between the two? This would be with all tracks on both machines at max volume, the level set the same on both, and master volume the same on both.

I’m finding that with the above conditions, I’m getting more output from one vs. the other in my hardware mixer. I’m thinking there is some setting I’m missing, but maybe that is how the machines are designed?

Any insight would be great. Thanks.

To my hears my AK has higher output volume than my AR mk1

On the physical outputs I don’t notice much difference, but through overbridge the A4 is much quieter.

Appreciate the replies.

Without master distortion or compression engaged on the Rytm, they’re pretty comparable.

Once you turn those on, though, Rytm’s output can be very hot. This can be mitigated by adjusting the compressor output level on Rytm.
