Sample not playing correctly

i have a strange issue here. a sample which sounds correctly in edit mode sounds completely different in playback.

even did a new clean project to check if there were track settings responsible but still. very strange short klipping instead of the complete kickdrum i sampled.

any ideas?

Have you checked timestretch?

where? the playbackrate in the tracksettings is all correct

yay thank you. in the sample attributes it had the wrong tempo

I think if you double click Payback. Turn timestrech off.
If that’s not the problem give some more info how it sounds if possible.
