Samples don't fit to a 4/4 Beat. How to change?

Hi there
I’ve tried to live sample the guitar from my friend while he’s playing a riff… it worked, but it seems like he played in a 3/4 beat. So the Problem is now when i put a Kick on 1, 5, 9, 13 (simple Beat) it don’t fits, even when i change the pattern to play 3/4.
Or like i’ve sampled a beat loop and it’s not like a regular 4/4 Beat…
How can i make it to fit the pattern? I wonder of the timestrech method, but i can’t figure it out how to make it happen.
I also thought of using a pickup machine and then resample it to another track… but this isn’t quite what i want.
May be it’s usefull if you now something about my setup; The Master of it all ist the holy cirklon sequenzer , and many synths are slaved to his power and also the OT.
So now i would like to be able to make sequenzes on the cirklon and slave the pattern of the OT, so far so easy… but when it comes to live samling i can’t use pickup machines because the OT isn’t the master clock. And i would love to record like a guitar riff or melody, and when i use the sample it fits the tempo of everything. It works as long as it is an 4/4 Beat… but what should i do with like 3/4 Beats or even diffrent types of Beats and stuff??

I hope somebody understands my problems and may help. Thanks a lot!!!

I would record him with the beats already playing in the sequencer, that way you know he is in time for your 4/4 signature without timestretch, you shouldn’t need to employ TS at all in a recording.

Make sure your sample start and end points are complete, go to the sample edit screen to be sure, make sure your pattern is long enough and starts at correct point etc.

Basic stuff so it will be a small user error thAts creating your problem. Enjoy
