Hi everyone. Is it possible to sample through the inputs while the sequencer is running?

I was just making this same thread, but did search to not repeat my mistake of making duplicate threads.
Has anyone tried it yet?
What about sequencing; can you edit next “part”(I forgot the terminology) of the song, while the first is still running?
