save + mute makes my AR go white screen and very silent until I reboot it … anybody know of this bug?
usually I try to hit Yes / Save + KIT to save the beautiful new sound to the kit… but AR does not agree …
happened this time on the MT7 while the only track unmuted was the MT7

It’s hard to resist that sound and interface, no matter how great the MD is, right?
@topic: my Rytm also crashes frequently when I’m doing something in the menus.
Just to confirm, I get this quite frequently. Often when I try to save this way while the sequencer runs, but sometimes even if its stopped it can happen.
The same problem for me too
Mine does not repeat this behavior.

It’s what shipped with my Rytm, purchased end of February.
What OS are you folks running?
My Rytm crashes sometimes when I have a pattern playing and auditioning sounds, other than that pretty stable
mmm…don’t think i’ve ever run into that issue, i’m running 1.02d
have you tried reinstalling the firmware or a empty/factory reset?
I can now confirm that the described button combo (sometimes) crashes my Rytm. The screen then just shows an empty file screen and only a restart gets me out of the empty screen, seems to be a bug.
EDIT: 1.02D, seems to be outdated.

i’m not sure but only (some) the recently shipped machines come with either 1.02E/F
1.02F here. I haven’t experienced this yet.
1.02E not issues with Yes/Save + Mute(Sound) so far.

How can you have 1.02E / F? I see on the website that the latest update is 1.02D (August 2014). I don’t understand …
D E F are the same, it’s an internal auditing difference for the benefit of Elektron apparently. Never had the issue on F
