Just unboxed my ak and there is a screw I can hear rattling around loose in the casing - should send it back… but, came from USA and am in the UK - has anyone here opened their ak? How simple is it? If I can get away without returning it would be preferable for time factor… want to play with my toy!
Have encountered another problem - the left external input wont seem to work as expected… signal shows up in the osc section (pretty low gain though) for processing but not in the fx track when the left vol fader is up (right input works as expected). Poss related hardware prob? Have I changed a setting somewhere? Any quick advice appreciated - need to return asap if this is a hardware prob.
I would send it back…
I don’t have an AK anyway. Beware of opening it may ruin your warranty. Warranty is very important…

Thanks mate - yeah I think I really do have to send back, total pain (sold other gear to make way for this, gonna take best part of a month to get another one to me so not much music for now). Cant grumble though - I won it in a competition (well, a $2k guitar center voucher - and had been lusting after an ak since they came out), im a lucky guy!

Thanks yeah I’m stoked, was a random prizedraw for members of the image-line (flstudio) forums god bless em (great team there, and great forum) - I was randomly selected, hadnt even remembered the comp was running until i got an email saying i’d won! Still have $300 to spend with them, will maybe save for a bit and get me a cut price analog rytm!
