Separate out with fx

Sorry if this has been covered a lot already. Reorganising my home studio and want to have AK permanently connected to a Patchbay. I get a little overwhelmed with tech talk re balanced/unbalanced etc. I know the separate outputs are stereo, but can I use a single TRS cable on each output which will then make the stereo track signal mono? Rather than stereo Y-cables, which will eat up 8 inputs on patchbay/interface/OT etc. And these outputs will also have the separate track fx right? Bit confused about the AK fx routing/send/return… Thanks.

The seperate outs are allways dry if I’m right - Fx only appplies the main outs .
You should be able to cut any track from the main outs… I think.

Cool, thanks.

The 4 individual outputs of the AK are stereo TRS type…but you can use them as mono outputs. Juts keep your sound panned center (on the AMP page) and you can use 4 TS or TRS cables, depending on what your patchbay will accept.

Devon,

Is there any other stereo information besides pan position (via p-lock or LFO) that takes advantage of the stereo voice outputs?
