Title kinda says it all but ill explain for clarity. I have recently got a faderfox pc4 (incredible with the OT btw)
Lets say the release control for a hi hat on the OT goes from 0 - 127,
And the most I want to open the hat is up to 80, can I set the OT so that when the pc4’s pot is fully to the right it tells the hat to open to 80, not 127?
Or is that something I need to do in the pc4?

The Octatrack does not do this.
As far as I know, neither does the Faderfox PC4.
You would need some processing device between the two units.

Can’t comment on the FaderFox, but what Peter says is bang on. Throw a nifty little box like a Ruin & Wesen MiniCommand, or something in the middle and apply some smarts / logic.

I think I’ll just trim the sample down in the audio editor, save a few quid and some desktop real estate.
