Yeah. Why not. You deserve nice things.

The Rytm is my least favorite Elektron groovebox, and I’D be inclined to buy it at that price :fire::fire::fire:

Price is fair. But if the Digitakt is your only piece of hardware i would consider a hardware synthesizer for a broader spectrum of possible sounds. And you can even create percussion with the synth and sample it with the DT.

I can also recommend it, having a RYTM MK1 since many years and love it. You could also consider an A4 MK1 for a more versatile synth engine. All machines audio could be fed into each other in various ways… but the setup gets more complex this way… maybe an on knob per function synth is a good alternative too… like behringer neutron or something, this would keep things simpler and sequencing in one place… so, it all depends on your workflow  but at this price you should maybe try it and if you dont like it, sell it again without too much loss…

I :purple_heart: my Rytm mkI … $600 is an awesome price.

The RYTM is the best music making machine ever. You just have to realize how deep it goes. An app like Collider for the iPad shows how deep it is as a synth. It’s just an amazing machine. I think second hand prices are crazy cheap. I nearly sold mine just after I got it but so glad I didn’t. Now I feel I would never sell it.

Proper drum machine. Will NEVER part with mine… unless I pick up a mkll

I got a neutron and a model d so i dont need more synths and really thinking of the rytm for the Price maybe i should pull the trigger :sunglasses:

Ah ok, the i would buy instantly. It’s IMHO the best you can get.

Totally- plus, between the wavetable synthesis capabilities of the DT and the Dual synth on the Rytm, you’d still probably be fine

Ok thanks to all

Yes. The MK1 is a beast. Think of it as the ultimate sampling/analog groovebox. Would have been nice to have the sequencer able to control other midi gear but there are workarounds. Was just using Chromatic Mode to sequence my Korg Monologue last night. Just make sure to rub the pads with a microfiber cloth to get them working properly. Brilliant.

600$ sounds almost too good to be true. Are you sure this isn’t someone trying to scam you?

If you don’t explicitly need the in-the-box sampling option or MIDI sequencing, the Rytm MK1 is, to me at least, far more capable than a Digitakt for synthesis and drums (I’ve had both, but have had the MK1 since it was released so maybe I’m biased or just more familiar with it).

At $600, it’s a steal

I love mine, i can pretty much write a full tune on it. Especially with the new synth engines!

Get it. 4 Dual VCOs pretty much gives you 4 mono synths and a drum machine for super cheap.

i will buit just waiting for the response of the selle i am asking for the proof of purchase to make valid the waranty if the rytm fails thankyou all

I have the same question
I used to have mk1
Loved the machine
Sold it for an mk2
Disaster

But… buy an mk1 Or an mk2 now? :frowning:
