Are they only for attaching rack ears? If so, I wanted to remove them but was not sure without opening it up whether or not they were connected inside and provided structural support to something else? Same with the Octatrack? Thanks!
there shouldn’t be any ‘side’ screws in situ ! if there are, then there was probably rack ears attached previously, the screws shouldn’t really go inside as they’re meant to be spaced ‘out’ by the ears, ie they shouldn’t go in too far - but i think they’ll only foul a pcb - no more than 6mm in i think is the ballpark, they are M3 screws - hth
Awesome, thanks for the info! Now that I think about it, my Analog Four did come with rack ears so I suppose they were left in the unit by the previous owner.
