Kinda looks like the Syncussion with more controls.
F—k this takes me back, listening to this tape in high school late at night, probably inspired me to take up music in the first place.
What I did hear back in those days, stuff was recorded on the Porta at home and then arranged/mixed later in a proper studio.
I would guess resampling stuff contributed to a lot of the textures and monster sounds. Gotta have monster sounds.
