Please lock this or let me know and I’ll delete if this question has been asked a ton of times. Trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong as the OT isn’t really responding to MIDI learn from the Arturia Microfreak.
I can send MIDI Notes to the MF but I can’t seem to use the MIDI learn function to control the MF’s parameters using the OT. I can if I do it manually and match using the MIDI Implementation Chart of the MF but wanted to give MIDI Learn a shot. Display keeps waiting for MIDI Signal but nothing really happens even if I tweak the knobs on the MF.
What am I doing wrong? Or is this a classic case of no can do bro?
Settings:
- OT MIDI Out to MF MIDI In
- MF MIDI Out to MF MIDI In
- OT MIDI settings: Transport Send On and Clock Send On (everything else not selected)

Are you sure the MicroFreak is sending MIDI CCs from the front panel? There is a setting for that in the Utility menu.
Are you sure the MicroFreak is sending on the right MIDI Channel and the OT is listening on that channel?

Re: Microfreak sending CCs, yes - I’ve turned “KNOBS SEND CC” off and on to make sure I’ve tweaked this setting.
I checked the MF’s channel settings: Input 1, Output 1.
I’ve set OT Midi T1 channel to 1.
How do I check the channel where the OT is receiving MIDI information from?
Ho ho ho. Found it. Writing it down here for others’ reference.
OT’s auto channel is 11 so I just had to set the MF’s output channel to 11.
Problem solved!
