Hi,

M:S plays back at 48kHz, so your samples are probably 44.1kHz. Use the Elektron Transfer app to send them to M:S and they should be automatically converted to play at the right sample rate and therefore the right speed.
That’s how I upload the samples. Could it be that the sample is too long and being condensed ? The effected sample is 20 seconds, while other tracks are running shorter times? I was replacing a percussion track with a longer ambient sample.
Daniel
Hmm, that is very odd. Transfer should take care of these things automatically. Longer samples are fine too from what I remember, at least up to around 30 seconds or so. Just to check, you don’t have the tune/pitch slightly higher than 0, do you?
Opps, yep the tuning was a bit off. Thanks One more question. Do you notice that the actual samples sound decayed a bit from the original?
Daniel
Nope. Is the Decay knob at its fullest setting?
Yes, I will keep working it out. Thank you.
It could be that your original sample was stereo but M:S coverts to mono. Depends what you mean by decayed, but that came to mind.
