Ok, we’ll, if you want to compromise, multiple MS-20s will make a good job of it too.
The 6 monosynths of Tempest are different than the 6 MS-20s or 6 2600s because there’s patch programmability.
BUT the Vermona DRM1 does not have patch memory… it does have knobs though
It’s been a fun semantic breakdown of the slippery indistinctness of “what is a drum machine?”
I mean one can build a drum machine rack, but i’m more into enclosed (not “shared” ;p) systems.
I’ll check out the latest Flux build, i’ve tried it in the past, but I tend to enjoy sequencing with Elektron style performance in mind over that and the Vermona randomrhythm.
Perhaps next year i can try out the Perkons for the layout if nothing else.
