Shipping to Sweden wasn’t terrible, around 40-50euros. But there’s tax as well, and that depends on your country’s laws and stuff.

I’m quite deep into it now, so if you got very specific questions or stuff, just fire away. Here’s my latest on it -

Hehe. The Synthstrom receipt said 899$US plus 33$US for the postage which is about 822€.
Import fee plus 16% tax, and it may end up with additional 150-180€ extra, i guess.

thanks :slightly_smiling_face:
the mc707 told me she wants to replace my 101, so let‘s see.
Hard to choose these days

Great review

Thank you

If you don’t need 707 for deeper sound editing and 101 sounds are enough for you, I have to say Deluge + MC101 are great combo imho.
If you want 707 for sound design, that makes the choice harder

Wenn du in oder in der Nähe von Hamburg bist, könntest du ihn bei mir antesten, sobald ich ihn habe, und Merkel keinen weiteren Mist baut…

One might argue the Deluge does everything the 101 does but better

Except fx. The 101 clearly has the better fx engine.

would be sick if they’d stick some mutable stuff in deluge. clouds reverb and whatnot.

Hey, german here!
I paid ~1050€ in total. Shipping was very fast, about 5 days (before corona though).

19% MwSt i guess…

I’m a few weeks in to the Deluge. It’s great. I didn’t realize it’d be so much a multitrack recorder. (I got a Tascam Model 12 around the same time.) I’m still carving out time to learn it better, but having luck connecting a Rode hyper cardioid video mic to the Deluge and multitracking my nylon guitar to heart’s content. For those ordering, it doesn’t hurt to see if they stock of their MIDI looper pedal.

I know, but I’m not that good in sound design, takes me some time to create one sound I like. That’s why using 101 as preset box can sometimes be the fastest way for me to make my ideas a real track.
I would love to have more time to focus on sound design. And would be great to use mc101 fxs on deluge synth & samples!!

I think these Videos from r beny are also showing the Deluges Potential very nicely:
