Killer guitar riff!

Years ago, I once skipped doing the tent cover/awning at a festival because the forecast was for mild weather and no rain. A couple of nights in, I was in full party mode when the rainclouds started rolling in. I was in no condition to put up the awning so it was a wet night and a messy morning for cleanup. Never again will I skip that step.
Drinking after putting the tent up can have its problems as well.
Tent built, start drinking heavily, think it’s a good idea to leave on the lights inside the tent as “it might heat it up abit”, think that’s a bloody brilliant idea. Head off to party while leaving the tent door open. We came back many hours later to find “all the bugs, ever” as roommates.
Ugh, bugs and lights…
I did sound for a 4-day event out in the woods of Oregon, and the local wildlife (including what seemed to be HUNDREDS of gophers and DOZENS of deer) were AGGRESSIVELY getting into everyone’s tents and basically partying with everyone’s food, bedding and clothes while the humans were out and about. I was glad to have an equipment truck to sleep in for that one.
