The Groovebox trifecta

Thank you everyone. This thread has go me thinking about a couple of options (Electribe and MPC Live I) that I hadn’t really considered, so it’s served its intended purpose.

It’s also made me think I need to perceiver with my Drambo setup too.

MPC is all you really need but beware of the MKI as it has that rubbery shit film that turns into a gummy mess. Plus it’s a dust magnet. The MKII does not have this and the additional speaker which many swear by.

Good luck!

Wow … that would exceed my criteria for portable. Best of luck !

I deleted my post but in case case OP is curious the MPC Live is still very portable with its battery. Maybe too big for some, maybe not for others.

I suppose that’s a personal preference.

Portable is different for everyone

Yeah, I think the MPC Live 1 or 2 probably does exceed my portability criteria. I’m hoping the rumours about an MPC Live Mini are true and that hits the sweet spot.

mpc live 2 from my experience is a beautiful piece of kit. speakers are surprisingly enjoyable too.

it’s no m8 tracker / op1 size wise… it’s a bit of a beast. but a very nice beast.

you wouldn’t be whipping it out on the train like. more it’s nice for using around the house without cables.

There is portable and transportable.

If you use a backpack as a reference, you’ll see quickly the difference

Polyend tracker with a battery like this: https://a.co/d/fPuR8vW

It’s offset to the side so it doesn’t cover the power button.

Or the Deluge, but lack of stem export made me sell mine.
