To Default a Track?

Hey guys, button combo to default a track, that is clear sample and page settings, does it exist?

hold the page button + clear

I usually tweak a part as a template, then copy it across a whole project. It usually saves me the most time copying a track from one of the non-used banks. If all banks are in use, there’s usually an unused part that has the template track.

i usually do the clear part and clear pattern in order to start fresh

With all due respect secret that only clears the selected page. That operation is x5 plus editor clear slot and track pattern.

Example: T1 Flex and T2 Neighbor, T3 sampling T1 and T2, T3 is now the new layer, T1 and T2 are now redundant. Now with a two or three button combo I’d like to default those tracks.

I like this idea and am going to create a Part template to see if this is fast and flowing. Thank you for sharing.

Ok I see, I thought you wanted more detailed control of what you were initializing.
Having a default blank part you can switch to is probably the easiest then.
Go to your default Part, copy and paste to a new part, edit the new part.
When done, re - assign your default part, copy, paste, and off you go.

Cheers !
