if i read in the promotion of the octatrack of realtime pitch ,i assume that it slows the tempo down like a Turntable did it- and sorry that is something that is not possible with the octatrack.
you only have a rate function that indeed make a whole ,complete Drumloop
or guitarsolo playing slower
but if i have a single Bassdrum on CHanel1
a snare on Channel two
and HiHats on Channel Three
to make a Rythem of them together and write them Beat for Beat into the sequencer
it is not possible to let that Rythem pitch down like a turntable or Rolands Sp-808 did
in that case only the tone pitch effect works when i use the Rate, it doesnt slow down the BPM.-Tempo
that make me a little sad and its the only mistake that the octatrack has got
,
or is it possible to put the BPM-Tempo to the crossfader wth a unknown trick?.
don’t missunderstand me i mean the Octarack is graet Sampler with a lot of fantastic functions and options.
But the teh Pitch-fake galls me,cause they write it in the headline of the octatrack promotion-but only a normal tone pitch in Realtime was no Sensation,i think.
set up a flex track to record the main mix of the octatrack. set up a scene (scene x) to have all other tracks muted. set up another scene (scene y) with all other tracks muted and flex track rate at zero.
when you fade from scene x to scene y you will get the effect you are looking for (mostly).
Turn on /off Time strech don’t work.nevertheless Thank you for answering
.
The second suggestion i will try it .i have to translate that exactly in German language first
