So I’ve been using OT to resample live DT and DN. Thru machine on T1 and Flex on T2 ( T3 and T4 for the DN) playing the quantized recording of the Thru. Im transitioning between the two using Scenes. When the slider is in the middle between the live and the recorded scene however the output seems distorted. Is there any way to avoid this and make the transition even smoother?
Not something i’ve experimented with, but are you using both XMIN and XMAX? As far as i’m aware they change the curve of the fade. Another thing to consider is that VOL XMIN/MAX is pre FX and LVL is post FX, so depending on your tracks that could make a difference.

I tried using the track volume and the amp page volume - it doesn’t make a difference.
Have you checked that scene A or B is not affecting anything else? Maybe try with a fresh scene?
I just tried with completely new scenes to see if xvol transition sound different than xlev transition without success. The scenes affect only the output volume.
Maybe frequencies are doubling and thus increasing gain…?
why do you want to crossfade anyway if it‘s the same? I think I don‘t quite get between what you crossfade
cueing the live input before i put it through the mains it to see if i like the change.
That sounds plausible but I don’t know if there’s a way around it.
