UI bug?

It seems that under some circumstances the arranger mode counter is wrongly printed over the knobs while not in arranger mode (see attached image).

Steps to reproduce in OTmk2 with OS 1.31:

  • change to a new project;
  • enter the arranger editor by pressing [ARR] followed by [YES];
  • press [NO] to exit the arranger editor and again [NO] to exit the arranger menu.

Does this happen to everybody else? Is this a bug, or does it have some purpose?

Obviously a bug…no purpose if you’re not in arranger mode…

Btw are you still in Arranger mode or not ?

No, it never was really in arranger mode, in my test I only enter the arranger menu and arranger editor and then exit them, the arranger mode led never turns on.

With MKI, AFAIK we have to be in Arranger mode to edit it.

Does it behave similarly if you are in Arranger mode ?

No, in arranger mode it’s not a problem because the counter is supposed to be printed in arranger mode, and instead of printing “-:-:-” it prints “1:1:1”.

Moreover, if I enter and immediately exit arranger mode, and then follow the steps to reproduce the problem, instead of printing “-:-:-” it prints “1:1:1”, as if some arranger state had been initialized. If in MKI you have to be in arranger mode to enter the editor, it might affect only MKII.

Confirmed happening here too, changing page clears it. MkII 1.31.
