Using a guitar/bass with my Elektron boxes

Hi all,

I’m essentially looking to get back into playing guitar and bass alongside my Elektron instruments.

Essentially, I’d like a way to produce a line level output from some sort of guitar amp head to enter the input of my Digitakt.I want to sample guitar and bass one-shots to use in my productions.

I’d also like the sound to all come through my studio monitors.

Does anyone else do this?

Technically you should be able to- one thing I’d be concerned with would be how quiet the input would be without preamps

Yes, however in Overbridge A4 inputs are available as a stereo pair only.

hei, you can record instruments and vocals via Overbridge but Elektron machines are expecting line level signal. You would need a preamp some sort. Small mackie mixer with guitar input will also do the job. One more thing is to make sure that the simulator software will recognise the Overbridge as a sound source.
