Can anyone tell me if the vents on the side of the Rytm are the same as the Analog 4 (size, placement)?
I have a client wanting custom end cheeks but I don’t have a Rytm so can’t measure it.
Cheers,
Neil

I verified exactly the same as the ANALOG FOUR
Looks like it mate… I got told it doesn’t matter about covering the side vents if the underneath ones are free (supposedly info from Cenk) the other day whilst looking at some wood sides. Still don’t think I wanna chance it tho.
Decided ill grab some from yourself at marmot audio eventually.
I’ve had that question about the vents too - always wondered if its ok to cover them?? The manual uses wording that is not so direct I feel. The AR and A4 get pretty warm to the touch after a bit of use.
I guess I’m reluctant to cover them also because - if it was ok to cover them then why are they there at all? Is it purely an esthetic choice?
I’m think to that, i fine this a bit expansive 50 euro for the cover, 120 euro for the Elektron Bag + Cover… I have 4 Elektron and i probably invest in the MnM… 250 euro of cover… ouch

I think its better there not covered… Like you say they do get warm, so I’m going to swerve it but I think the side vents are maybe backup, like if the surface the units are on top of gets warm for any reason the side vents are necessary. Guess it would be at your own risk.
All the sides I’ve seen specifically for A4 have the vents cut out. The ones I was looking at where designed for MD/MM.
