I think it’s fair to put a lot of blame on fedex.

You’re probably right. FedEx is, by far, the worst shipping company I’ve ever dealt with. I never have even remotely the same amount of BS with other ones as I do with FE.

No and I don’t think they know it either.
Just want to chime in that we are aware of the issues with shipping with Fedex from Sweden to North America at the moment. Normally the orders should arrive within just a few days. For the orders already in transit there isn’t anything we can do unfortunately, but we are looking into how to make sure that new orders are sent and delivered without delays. Very sorry for the inconvenience, truly feel your frustration in this…
With that said, not sure if this affects all packages sent to the US so keep checking the tracking info.

Appreciate the update. As I mentioned I’ve always had a good experience ordering direct from Elektron so no qualms from me here on this front.

I always forget that people outside of the UK have not had to deal with the utter hell that is Hermes.
You’re lucky if your parcel ends up on the right street, let alone the right house, and don’t even try to imagine you might get it handed to you even if you’re home.
So bad they’ve had to ‘rebrand’ as Evri to try and get people to forget.

My orders from Elektron have always been delivered to me in the US within a few days, but they were sent through UPS. My ST is still in Germany. FedEx suuuuucks

Thanks for the reply and support on this… Didn’t think it was on your side, but it does seem like fedex is not prioritizing additional space to alleviate the back log… I think anyone who’s “late” package stranded in Cologne feels the same way! Honestly this was the first time I ordered directly from elektron since I preorder a machinedrum way back when… that came DHL, but that had different problems back then.
I think we will all survive… if anything having the package on it way but not being able to play with it makes it so I don’t have anymore GAS…

It looks like FedEx shipments in Germany are on hold, but most of them will resume on Friday, April 29.

things moved quickly once the shipment left Cologne yesterday afternoon. I was expecting another day or two on this end but the package is on a truck out for delivery today.

For info, looks like my direct from Elektron order arrived at home in the UK today via UPS. Unfortunately I don’t get back until tomorrow, so won’t know if it’s in the box until then
