Mine arrived earlier today. What with looking after my son today and then having his 4th birthday tomorrow, the box is sat looking at me unopened.

The delays are frustrating from a customer perspective, but mostly understandable given the situation around logistics these days. Thanks for jumping in to offer your assistance here with me and others, it goes a long way.

That’s great to know ! Did FedEx asked you for customs duties yet ? I never ordered directly from them so I’m wondering how much I will have to pay.
No, I’m a bit curious about that as well. I’m hoping it’s just GST they’re collecting, but I’m expecting worse.

My Syntakt arrived yesterday (yay) but only had about two hours with it (boo).
Slightly mixed first impressions but in a good way. It sounds great at what it does best but the digital synth machines are not what I’d call instant gratification. I don’t mind that though as I’d like to actually learn the machine and work at getting the most out of it. If you’re lazy or not careful, I think a lot of what you do with Syntakt could sound a little samey. I’m coming at this as more of a groove box than drums only here.
Been a while since I held and used a ST sized box and forgot how much fun they are just to get jamming away on. I don’t have the crazy post purchase honeymoon vibes of old with ST but I’m very much ok with that. Fed up convincing myself for weeks that box A is the answer and then feeling shite about it. Optimistic that I’ll be in this one for more of a long haul.
One other thing, I bashed out 3 bare bones jams that I was pretty happy with without reading any manuals or even browsing through the sound pools. Barely even listened to the preset patterns. Trying to go into this with as blank a slate as possible before checking out some patches to understand how they work. Fairly certain that will broaden the sonic pallets considerably!

UPS decided to not deliver mine today.
Out for delivery now changed to - delivery date will be provided as soon as possible. “need address information”

UPS fkrs have done this to me a good few times with other deliveries. their delivery notifications should be taken with a pinch of salt, lol 🥲

8 days from order to delivery, Göteborg to Zürich. I suppose that’s ok.
I don’t like receiving by UPS that much, I think DHL is a bit more transparent and it’s easier to adjust the delivery mode (no signature, where to put it, etc.). The UPS delivery man also didn’t seem to be aware I had already payed import duties online. Anyway, it’s here now and sounds nice.

Yep they contacted me too, apparently Elektron have despatched to KMR already and they’re in transit

I must say I’m impressed by their service, really good comms
I ordered an OP1 from then years ago, great comms and after sales (volume encoder failed).
So far all I can say about Syntakt, is that it is the Synth I didn’t realize that I needed in my setup.
