Yeah I am pissed. I am contacting Elektron today. Either all our machines are doing a European tour without us… or at this point I feel like the packages are either damaged or stolen(because honestly there is no reason these thing are getting bounced around europe).
As the days have passed without any info from either fedex or Electron my whole give me a free t-shirt to make me feel better is turning into send me a new machine, and a discount(was at $50 off now starting to think $100 off) since at this point I could have ordered from a brick and mortar store and gotten like a week ago.
I mean aren’t we the loyalist of customers. We bought the machines from the company within the first hour of release… you know the ones that would be talking and using these machines… talking about them on forums… basically helping to sell the f**cking machines. for them…
just annoyed… thankful and not thankful it’s not just me…
We are getting to the point where we need you guys to do something here please. These syntakts are literally lost in the system and no updates in days. I’ve never seen a shipment go so wrong.
Mine has been there something like 78 hours now. And I agree, I’m really not too happy about how this is shaping out. It’d be one thing if all shipments were running late, but the fact that others are getting it in the time that our packages are just sitting in one location is worrying, and the longer FedEx has these, the less I like the odds of us getting them and they being in good condition.
By the way “in transit” doesn’t mean anything… we had a 3 hour “in transit” before when they were moving it in a warehouse. “Departed” actually means it’s moving somewhere else…
Yours might update in transit too. Looking at flights into Detroit I can’t see how our packages are going there. There are no direct flights to Detroit on fedex from Europe. And while they could be contracting with commercial airlines, it seems like a weird place to go.
I’m compulsively refreshing my tracking like an addict, no change as of yet. I also just reached back out to the Elektron service person that responded to my initial ticket from last week so we’ll see if there’s anything to be done.
Mine finally left Koeln after 5 days of being stuck there and now it’s in Oude Meer. Based on what I’ve seen here I’m assuming it will be stuck there for a while before finally making it over the Atlantic. This is so disappointing. It keeps shifting from in transit to “at facility” and it still says it’s “on time” I’ve opened a ticket and all I heard back was that it was a FedEx issue. Not much Elektron can do about it. My DT and DN are very lonely waiting for their friend to arrive.
