I listen to a lot of drumless music but for the gym its not the best. Recently have been into the OG rave music.

Audiobooks and podcasts, usually. I listen to music all day while working because spoken word/informational content would be too distracting, but for me, exercise is the perfect time to listen to a couple chapters of whatever book I’m currently reading or get a quick podcast episode in.

the sound of my breathing. seriously, though… i never listen to music while running, riding, or lifting.
i really want to do this too, but gyms are always blaring music. it’s always extremely lame modern EDM pop or extremely lame classic rock everyone’s heard 1000 times. i have to bring my phone with me into the sauna because otherwise i can’t meditate over the sound of the awful music.
Ambient. But I consider taking naps working out.
For now, silence.
I’m doing the Mark Wildman heavy club program for overweight, deconditioned, or recovering (from injury) people. Can’t risk whacking myself in the head w/ the club, even if it’s only 15 lbs.
When I do a session of GMB Elements, it’s a follow-along, so all I hear is the timer for each exercise.
Don’t mind a bit of spice Girls for the morning jog.
