What gear would you like to see elektron do next?

Elektron doing Open Source / DIY, without sequencer ? :sketchy:

Is this Zynthian better than an Axioloti?

it seems I needed to put a word “but” before “All In One”.

anyway… I think some All In One device would be nice from Electron, maybe smth like Digitone/Digitakt style…

as to Axoloti… I don’t know if Zyhthian is better…

I believe they are working on a time machine. You set trigs as years to travel back to along the timeline of your life. If you’re feeling adventurous, set an LFO to that trig and see where you end up. Slice mode is still in beta. At the moment it just sends various body parts to different times. The goal is to be able to exist as a complete human in many different times at once.

Q: What things should the new machine do?
A: Yes.

They should just put all the boxes in a row on the top of a keyboard!

You mean on the side of a keyboard

Also the trig condition options are pretty good these days. But what about if i want a particular sound to only trigger every leap year?

Just something to think about Elektron

I hope Electron’s stuff read the forum… it seems they have evrything to create an All In One music production unit with or without a keyboard… but pls. not 6kg! :hushed: but less… and not 5.9kg…

With the exception of the analog heat and the analog drive, all other elektron devices are already all in one units. A4 and DN are a bit more limited due to not having sample playback capabilities and I’m not so familiar with the MM and the MD, but I would go as far to say that you would only need one elektron box and won’t lack anything to produce some nice music. Especially if it’s the OT, DT, or the AR. All can do drums, chords, bass lines etc., albeit with potential workarounds or tricks.
However, an elektron box with exchangeable machines, like an OT on steroids, which do not only feature the original OT machines, but also DT, DN, MM and MD machines and updated FX might be a neat idea. But I guess it is very unlikely that such a monster would ever be released.

… except the original Monomachine SFX-6. It wasn’t a big seller.

They’ve said that the protocol of the Analog series is separate from midi

Not gear, but I wouldn’t mind if they made OverFX where they make a plug in version of the Digi-FX

I’ve been getting more into modular lately, which led me to researching eurorack sequencers, which led me to wishing Elektron would do a CV sequencer with at least 8 channels of gate and v/oct. add in OT style crossfader and scenes and I can’t see how it wouldn’t be a huge success. Or I’ll just buy an Eloquencer or something

A full size/normal size ie… original size(Machinedrum size) - Digitone with the individual outputs of the Keys version.

Also with a little ‘keyboard’ like the Analog4

The current version sounds fantastic but is too crammed in … needs spreading out a bit.

I’d like to see Elektron release a standalone Tracker based sequencer for iOS/Mac app etc. Elektracker to “song” sequence the digi: and model: product lines. Then a master hardware product a octatrak/machinedrum/digitone: sampling ”best of octatrak”,digital “fm”drum synthesis, additive, wavetable, modeling, with of course the elektron sequencer, with the addition of a tracker based master sequencer, for internal and external sources.

A Digitakt Pads with 16 pads (and 16 track) and separate output. Kind of upgraded Digitakt like they did with the Digitone Keys
