Whats better between A4 or OCT to use whit AR?

hello guys i buyed some weeks ago an AR mkii and well i just love it . what do you suggest me between a4 or octatrack?

mostly i play techno , minimal and some dnb my full setup now is AR , dfam , 303 and drumbrute …

p.s. im sorry for bad my english

Can’t speak for Analog 4 but Octatrack is very complex and not easy at all. Long learning curve.

well i had read this about octatrack … im trying to figure which of the 2 i can use better alogside the ar …

I’d go for OT all the way. It’s obviously more versatile and you’ll be able to sample and remix your DFAM and 303 on the fly, you can create beautiful sampled pads also and load anything you want.

But if you feel analog pads and chords are your thing the A4 is king… (you can still make amazing ones using the double VCO from the AR though).

You should ask yourself what you want more. 4 analog voices or a sample beast. Answer that question and you’ll know what you want

For me its about what i want to do
Lazy beatmaking, enjoying the moment, i do with A4 and ar
I use my ot for performance mixer and looper

Thanks this was a nice replay  yeah probably in gonna by ot i already use ar as a sampler but for drum tracks, one shot samples and sometimes voice and loops there are no enough tracks… and anyway there are less expensive solutions for synth …

I go for ot …and maybe it my gf don’t kill me all take a lyra8

Ar ;dfam 303 , ot and lyra 8…sound nasty
