above the bpm reading on my md uw+ mk II I see a 1 pixel dot flashing on an off all the time … its in the right handside corner top of screen, (left to the LEV letters of the volume)

Hehe, no - there’s one pixel flashing for MIDI being received, and one pixel flashing for MIDI being sent, I believe.
cool that makes sense … also with the midi … so small and almost unseeable … i assume i will ask the exact same question in half a year again when I have fogotten, and will rediscover … thanks daisuk

Yes, one pixel means MIDI receive, the other pixel means MIDI sent.
