I can’t get my AR and A4 to work simultaneously. The plugin will see both hardware & they will communicate back and forth, knob movements, etc., but… only one device can pass audio at a time.
Anyone else have this issue?

solved it. Overbridge will not allow you to overwhelm the audio per device, but it doesn’t guard against your total track count between machines.
in other words, once i selected a stereo pair out of each device everything worked great.
Irrespective if you have one or two devices, the audio channel count available for one will be the same as for the other, so if you use both, they should both be available at the same 6@24 or 8@16, each, separately. If this is not working it sounds like you need to explore using an MTT hub. Overbridge uses a tiny amount of bandwidth, it in itself is not demanding, it’s the computer management of the USB stream which is the frequent bottle neck. This is discussed a lot elsewhere. There’s no black magic, you should get 8@16 for both or 8@16 for one. The only rules are that the low bandwidth limits it to 6@24 or 8@16 tracks and I believe there’s a constraint to have a configuration of input/output so it’s not possible to have a zero output config (or something like that) so the 8 channels can’t be freely assigned to an extent
Or use 2 separate USB ports from your computer. Shouldn’t this solve the pb ?
no. i have a macbook. 1 usb-c port to rule them all.

a normal hub is not guaranteed to deliver, depending on what else you hang from it - you need an MTT hub, not that pricey, just harder to find
Anyone know if this anker usb hub is MTT compatible? I couldn’t find any info on that aspect of it.

edit: emailed anker and will update my post.

Hehe sorry, I have two and thought it was kind of standard.
These are MBP late '11 shitty USB ports, but at least I have two of them
I’d be interested to see which MTT USB hub you guys are using…
It may be hard for you US people, but in France I just cannot seem to find any MTT hub (apart from Overhub of course). This is really weird… It’s like this technology has no use at all out there !
