Hello,
Since the release of the Digitone, I’ve been working with learning its sound engine. It’s very different from any other FM synth that I’ve tried, and highly unique and optimised for the Elektron sequencer. I’m getting the hang of it now, and I like it. In the process of learning, I’ve made this pack of 40 keyboard patches. Perhaps you’ll find it useful or inspiring?
haha and I just made a cup of tea Thanks for a nice Saturday morning half hour @cuckoomusic!
Edit: that was great, thanks!
Fine patches Cuckoo I especially like the first one.
It’s a good idea to design some proper Keys patches with MW assignments since the DN sounds so good.
Cool mate, thanks!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Now I’m just waiting for a few particular early but nagging bugs to be solved before I make a tutorial.
I’ve been thinking about your patches all day, and they’re contributing to my decision on which synthesizer to buy in the future. Hearing them made me realise that I’d be probably very very happy with a DN! It can really sing, in all sorts of strange tongues.
Thank you again for your nice demo.
Thanks cuckoo,
master of synthEsis and sYnthesis
Big big fan over here. Hugs from Austria/Italy
Thanks a lot mate! So happy to hear you like it. I got a lot of nice comments on Youtube, but I also got a comment saying this was “the worst FM patches he’d ever heard” So it seems diverse… hehe.
Thanks! Hugs from Sweden at the moment.
Clearly they haven’t heard my FM8 patches, haha. Great work as always, Cuckoo!
