A MD UW sampling question

I have a pattern with the R1 and P1 machines resampling a piece of the pattern.
On one track I have a bassline that I only want to hear the resampled sound coming out of the P1. So the normal sound of the bassline track needs to be muted.

If I mute the track, it doesn’t get resampled. If I assign the bassline track to another physical output, it also doesn’t get resampled.

Is there a way to not hear the bassline-track but to hear it resampled by the P1 track?

yep, if you have a patch cable, just route the bass to e.g output C, then patch that output back into input A… Then, on the RAM-R machine turn up the ILEV instead of MLEV… Et voila :imp:
