A4 knobs of cv track to send midi to my iPad?

I want to control loopy on my iPad. Might be an inspiring combination. But Can I use the knobs of the iPad for this? Can I make them send CC out or something like that?
(and can I do the same with keys, i.e. to make c3 record a loop?

Do you mean, use the knobs on the Analog Four to send MIDI CC messages?

Yes: in the SETTINGS > MIDI CONFIG > PORT CONFIG menu, set ENCODER DEST to “INT+EXT”.
