A4 mark 1 updating to overbridge 2.0 not being recognised

Hi guys , I’ve pulled my a4 out thr cupboard and tried to set it up , by downloading overbridge 2.0 . My Mac isn’t recognising the a4 , I’m using Catalina . It’s sooo confudinh how to get this up and running , I need an idiots guide , can someone please help I’m pulling my hair out with it , step by step please help it’s infuriating many thanks

Any other updates I need to do ?? Thank you

You may need to update the A4 if you haven’t already. Also, make sure you have OverBridge Mode checked in System Settings. If you have USB checked, OverBridge on your PC won’t see it.

Tried that , when I go to midi in and midi out it only gives option for max 1 and max 2

How is your A4 connected to your computer? Via USB or via DIN MIDI? Have you configured the A4 correctly to match the connection type?

(INPUT FROM/OUTPUT TO in port config)

Also turn off Overbridge mode while you update (Global/System/USB Config page should be set to USB MIDI)

That was a great help seems to have updated , now loaded overbridge onto a channel on ableton and it looks like this

Does the A4’s screen show as 1.50A when it starts up now? Did you reenable Overbridge mode in USB CONFIG menu after updating?

It does say 1.5A now mate and overbridge is been re engaged
