can you do stop start and change bank group patterns and or patterns with spdsx.

As far as I can tell, the SPD-SX does not send Start/Stop/Continue messages.

It seems that it can send Program Change messages that would allow changing of patterns on the Analog Four. It can send MIDI note messages that would allow you to use the Multi Map feature on the AF.

thanks peterhanes this should be useful even if i just create an empty pattern to go to when i need to end a tune
