Ableton - DN random note transposition

Hello,
I’m having an issue between Ableton and the DN. For example: I send a simple single note sequence (C, C, E, E, F, F) from Ableton to the DN T1. At some point and it’s never consistent, some of these notes will get transposed to another note in the sequence. The DNs sequencer is not running. I’ve attempted to turn all midi in the DN off, i’ve turned the 3 other tracks off but I have so far been unable to fix this issue.
Has anyone else encountered this? How did you fix it or what is causing it?

Thanks!

hi! my DN transposes always and i still figure out how to switch it off… thanks for help!!

arp maybe? (random guess)

would this be caused by any arp settings are saved with the patch/sound itself? Is the arp always running? i can’t wrap my head around why it’s so random though…

Yes - arp is saved with sound.

Do you experience the problem with a completely fresh pattern?

I have this issue on using the DN with overbridge as an AU in Ableton. Just randomly drops down two notes or so.
I felt it kind of happens if I overwhelm it by sending too many note oparations at once. F.e. I have 4 different midi tracks on Ableton (10) all routed to the DN audio unit on a seperate track. While 3 tracks are playing notes, I try to arrange something on the 4th and play on a midi keyboard if I overlayer notes, it sometimes suddenly does this drop you where talking about.
I also have issues with infinite note lengths like notes dont stop playing, so i figured it might just be an overbridge problem - beta buggish? Those issues seem to disappear if i just use the DN on its own and send the midi notes to the midi port of the DN rather than using it with overbridge. Do you use overbridge?

Now I’ve started on a fresh pattern and can’t replicate the issue. Maybe that’s it? …I don’t know yet.

I wasn’t using overbridge when the issue presented itself. I’m going to download it and try it out. I’ll keep you posted what happens.

Had you been using pitch bend? It can get stuck in ableton and you have to reset it to 0 again

Yes, right about the pitch bend issue - it sometimes accidently occurs with the touch pitch bend on my Keystep, but pretty sure, its not that. Will def observe it more, to figure whats the issue there.

I haven’t had time to fully explore the pitch bend settings and see if that was causing the issue. Thanks for the suggestion and I’ll look into that as well.
