Ableton Help? MIDI CC conversion

In my quest for having the OP-Z control my whole setup, I need to figure out an Ableton issue…any help is appreciated.

Want I want to achieve:

  1. when incoming CC3 from the OP-Z is 0-63…then send MIDI CC to minilogue’s low-pass (CC 43 , 0-127)…at values above 63, the minilogues low-pass should stay at 127

  2. when incoming CC3 (from OP-Z) is 64-127…then send MIDI CC to minilogues high-pass (CC 39, 0-127)…at values below 64 the minilogues high-pass should stay at 0

I hope this makes any sense

It can be done with a couple of MaxforLive devices (Honey-Mapper and ControlChange8.5).


No way to do it with Live standard on its own though, as you’re needing to squeeze the CCs into half the space (128 squeezed into 64, x2). If you don’t have Max, maybe there’s a MIDI plugin out there that could work…?
