i want to record midi notes from ableton to the four mk1, that works well. but it is not recorded synchronously, is that normal? is there perhaps a better solution than to compensate with the track delay from ableton?

Iām sure a stupid question, but how do I do it?
in live midi prefs, select the physical midi output you send the clock from, expand it and set the negative latency. you can measure the latency by recording a very short and attack ish sound from the a4 and checking how late it is, make sure to wait a couple of bars for the clock to settle tho
