Ableton/OB: Multitrack recording from Rytm track isn't working

Hello Elektronauts,

Perhaps I’ve not configured Live (9.6, OS X 10.11.2) properly, but I can’t seem to get audio to route to individual tracks using the Rytm plugin (OB 1.10.0, Rytm 1.22).

Here’s what I’m doing:

  1. Drag and drop Rytm plugin to track (creates Midi-based track w/plugin)
  2. Create new audio track:
    a. Choose “Audio From” and select “1-Analog Rytm”
    b. Change “Post Mixer” to “BD 1-Analog Rytm”
  3. Set Monitor (on track 2) to “In”

Expectation: should see levels and hear only the bass drum track

Actual results: I hear nothing and levels don’t show in the monitor either

Some possibly-important notes:

  • I do see metering and hear output if I leave it at “Post Mixer”
  • I’ve setup the plugin Voice Routing both ways (main mute masks on and off) to no avail

I tried following along to Dataline’s video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIipfVrCi-E), but I can’t figure out what I’m missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Probably something really simple I’m forgetting to do.

Did you configure the routing using Overbidge Control Panel? You have to activate the BD input there too.
