Really want to ditch my current Sonar/Ableton rewire setup and go fully Ableton but I use Sonar Take Lanes feature heavily. Partly convenience, partly to keep optional ideas to hand, partly for comping takes (especially when writing/recording with live instruments/vocals/amps/effects etc) . Seems like ableton is never going to introduce a similar feature. Was hoping for it in 9.5…Ive looked round for ableton workarounds etc and they all seem so awkward compared to doing the same thing in Sonar. Anyone found any ninja tricks recently that aren’t discussed already in forums/videos? Thanks
