Ableton tracks

Hi everybody,
maybe it has been discussed if it is sorry for that but I have a question.
How to record tracks every with its own effects in different channels in Ableton?
I’ve just made the Audio Routing both in Digitakt and in Ableton.
The Post FX in Ableton is the channel where DT send ALL the FX of ALL the channels, so when in Ableton turn down a channel it is STILL in in the Post FX channel.
There’s any way to avoid that?
Many thanks ti everyone could help.

The DT’s effects are always going to be dry in the individual tracks because they are send effects and shared by all of the tracks. It’s just how the signal paths work.

Ok thank you for the reply davestasiuk.
It’s a pity, let’s hope in an Elrktron update to fix this.
Many thanks

Not going to happen I’m afraid, not a bug but a design choice

Shame :frowning: the FX and all the work in DT don’t run in that way in Ableton:(.
Thanks

You can get one stereo track with FX, but it’s the best you can get.
Each track is sent to the FX, which means there’s a mixing stage that can’t be undone.

With Overbridge you should be able to automate any parameter and regenerate your FX track, though.

But forget the individual tracks each with FX, as there are not 8 FX tracks.

I always dreamt of OB-compatible audio effect plugins (using the same algo as the hardware) that would just sync up its parameter with your device, making the same exact effect available within the DAW/OB workflow.

That would have been a very smart solution!

I’m going to try to do as you said.
Thank you
