Adjust level of Sound Pool sounds

I know holding down a button on the sequencer and turning the level/data knob will open up the sound pool menu and allow me to choose the sound I want to use.
However, it just so happens that that same knob is used to adjust the level of a track… let’s I want to adjust the level of a sound in my sequence.
I hold down the corresponding button on the sequencer, turn the level/data knob… and the sound pool comes up instead of adjusting the sound’s volume.

How do I adjust the volume/gain of a single sound in my sequence? (not the preset assigned to the track)

p-lock amp level (or whatever else the DN has) - this can be done to track/pool sounds - the level encoder is for global track level (or sound locks)

AMP page 1 has a VOL parameter that is independent of the track volume.
