I bought the DN and DT recently and watched a few tutorials, especially Cuckoo’s and Red Means Recording (Jeremy Blake). I closely followed one of Jeremy’s tutorials where he thought he sounded like Cuckoo. This is just me noodling after my first proper delve into the DN’s workings so no chorus or middle eight.

That’s a good spot @philipp_b — I’ve never been a gamer so couldn’t really say, but Cuckoo’s sound is heavily influenced by video games.

Me neither. Of course the sound of your song would be much too modern for super nintendo but the bassline and these sounds, that sound as if you just found a gold coin, just gibe it that vibe.
