After touch

It there a way to change and or turn it off? I was trying to make a drum roll and if you hit the pads too fast you get no sound from time to time so. I assume that is after touch conflicting with the rapid hits. This doesn’t happen with the trigs.

** BUMP **

I’ve had my Rytm a few weeks now and pleased to say I’m learning more and more on what it can do all the time.

Currently working with After Touch. Can anyone share any techniques on how they use this?

From what I can see, the LFO cannot presently be routed to the AT. Does anyone out there have any techniques that would produce a similar result?

Thanks in advance

Hi right now I am experimenting with controlling LFO’s with performance mode, with GREAT success!!

Erm, all track-specific parameters (including the params on the LFO page) should be available in the aftertouch modmatrix for each sound?

found something related in this topic so i thought i wouldn’t open a new one: there’s one things about the aftertouch which isn’t much clear to me but could probably have to do with the fact that i’m hitting a pad and not a key on a keyboard :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: but…the aftertouch kicks in as soon as the pad is hit, meaning that it is affected by the initial velocity as well (the harder you hit the pad, the higher the value of the aftertouch). shouldn’t the aftertouch start to work after the pad has been hit and only if i move my finger?

Hmm. I imagine the initial velocity provides a starting point for aftertouch.
I will experiment with this, both from the pads and a controller.

Yep, there should be a small delay between the Initial hit and aftertouch.
Tempest has this Problem too i think…

You could monitor the midi output with MidiMonitor(osx) e.g, it could be interesting as the pad response choices are, well, interesting

Is it true you can’t live record after touch? Im trying so hard with my DVCO…
