Aggressive desktop synth like the PWM Malevolent?

I love my PWM Malevolent but space restrictions means it probably has to go soon.

Is there anything similarly angry available in a smaller form factor?

It has a 12 dB Sallen-Key filter, so that’s probably the thing you’d be wanting to look for the most - I believe it’s essentially the same as an MS-20 filter but their own design. So look for good desktop alternatives for the MS-20 too it might be an easier hunt.

It’s hard to find now, but the demos of the Malevolent reminded me of the Stylophone Gen R-8.
